Food for Thought: Foraging in Urban South West England with Martin Bailey
The FOOD FOR THOUGHT Series Brings You:
'Foraging in Urban South West England with Martin Bailey'
This educational workshop, in collaboration with Martin Bailey; expert forager, will provide you with the skills and knowledge to confidently forage in your local area and with your local community in a Covid safe way. Perfect for beginners and well-seasoned foragers, Martin will share his knowledge on safe and sustainable foraging practices, as he takes you along on an urban foraging session this spring. He will show us a multitude of edible plants, speak to us from his vast experience and we will close with an open Q&A.

This workshop is part of a series of online and offline events exploring nature’s larder, both found and grown, and the opportunities for positive connections with nature and to our local communities through foraging and growing in the South West and West Midlands of England.

If you would like to get ahead of the game and gen up about foraging before the workshop, you can check out Martin’s recommended guide here: Liz Knight’s ‘Forage’: https://www.waterstones.com/book/forage/liz-knight/rachel-pedder-smith/9781786277350
