Put the FUN in Fundraising - Everyone can and I did! with Eileen Chan Hu
Can you do fundraising? Yes, you can!

This session is designed for those in the early stage of their fundraising journey and will share individuals’ lessons learnt in fundraising over several years and the things that worked well, whilst some ideas will be shared with a view to what may be possible in the current climate the session is designed to share a range of honest tips and considerations you won’t get by googling fundraising. This is not designed for expert fundraisers, though you are welcome to join in and share your experience.

Note whilst this session touches on funding, it will be focused on FUNDRAISING and we will return to Funding applications at another time as part of our series of 3.

We're delighted to be joined by Eileen Chan Hu, Belfast, Northern Ireland, who has a wide experience in funding from using creativity and innovation from raising funds through a relay marathon, where she ran a leg of it, only to have no one at the finish line as they thought she would have taken longer, making posters on a photocopier before technology and cut and paste, to developing a social enterprise, CRAICNI, where diverse trainers promote diversity and inclusion winning a bid that took them to work with partners in Italy, Turkey, Greece and Scotland, to building a community centre!

Find out in this session, Eileen's journey in fundraising, the fun and the tears!

We will be recording this free session, which we may share later as an online resource. If you don’t wish to be in the recording please keep your camera off and yourself on mute. Please be aware your name, or number if you join by phone, as it appears on Zoom will be visible to others and may be visible in a recording if you are unmuted. Closed captions will be available during the session.
