Food For Thought: Connection with local nature & community through foraging
The FOOD FOR THOUGHT Series Brings You:
'Foraging in Rural South West England with Emma Gunn'

This educational workshop, in collaboration with Emma Gunn; expert forager, will provide you with the skills and knowledge to confidently forage in your local area and with your local community in a Covid safe way. Perfect for beginners and well-seasoned foragers, Emma will share her knowledge on safe and sustainable foraging practices, as she takes you with her on a virtual Cornish forage trip this spring. She will show us a multitude of edible plants, speak to us from her vast experience and we will close with an open Q&A.
This workshop is part of a series of online and offline events exploring nature’s larder, both found and grown, and the opportunities for positive connections with nature and to our local communities through foraging and growing in the South West and West Midlands of England.

If you would like to get ahead of the game and gen up about foraging before the workshop, you can check out Emma’s springtime foraging book here: https://nevermindtheburdocks.co.uk/product/never-mind-the-burdocks-spring/

Please note, this regional event is aimed at to those living in the South West and the West Midlands of England. If you have an interest in foraging and/or Eden Project Communities events, but live outside this region please feel free to visit our Facebook page for our other events: https://www.facebook.com/groups/epcnetwork/events
