The Power of Sharing for Transforming Communities
Why buy when you can borrow? Sharing helps us to cut down on our consumption, while also offering a clear way to connect with others around us. Both of these things are fantastic for the wellbeing of people and planet!

This event will share experiences gained from setting up the world's first mobile library of things, the Share Shed - based in Devon, UK. This project has helped thousands of people to share more, and connect more with each other in the process!

This event will be split into two parts - at the first you'll will hear more about why sharing is important and how it is making a concrete impact upon communities. The second part will be specifically for those interested in setting up similar initiatives, offering an opportunity to ask questions, share insights and tackle any common challenges faced.

The Network of Wellbeing, Eden Project Communities and the Share Shed are working in partnership to host this free online event. The Network of Wellbeing works to support a UK network of people and organisations who care about the wellbeing of people and the planet. The organisation has just launched the world's first mobile library of things, the Share Shed, supporting communities in the south of England, by offering people useful items like tools, household appliances, camping and gardening equipment, and much more to be borrowed at a minimal fee.

Eden Project Communities aims to improve the happiness and wellbeing of people across the UK by bringing communities together and inspiring them to make positive changes where they live. The organisation are hosting weekly workshops and talks, for more please visit
