Food For Thought is a series of online and offline events, exploring our connection with nature and our local communities. Throughout the series, we will explore foraging, growing and cooking, and how we can use these skills to connect with nature and our local community.

Kicking off our Food For Thought series, in collaboration with Foraged by Fern, we will provide you with the skills and knowledge to confidently forage in your local community. Perfect for beginners, Fern will share her knowledge on safe and sustainable foraging practices, before taking you on a LIVE, virtual forage of 8-10 edible plants and closing with a Q&A.

Attendees of this workshop will be invited to an online discussion ‘Sloe down with a cuppa’ on 25th April at 2pm. A space to connect and share your own foraging efforts and to brainstorm ideas in how you might share this new skill with your local community (event info will be emailed to attendees after the event).
